For groups of students that are limited by time, but still interested in making an unforgettable educational trip to Ireland, IECT’s Mini Stay programme is the perfect fit.
Whether your group prefers to be based in a cool, cosmopolitan city like Dublin, Cork, or Belfast, or in an area of natural beauty such as Galway or Killarney, we’re sure to have something that takes your fancy.
Our Mini Stays allow students to experience some of Ireland’s most beautiful and iconic destinations, while giving them all the benefits of an immersive experience in English. With centres located throughout the country, the possibilities are endless. Some groups prefer to visit one area in-depth, while others like to see a bit of everywhere. We are more than happy to accommodate both.
We are delighted to be able to offer a number of centres for Mini Stay or Short Stay programmes for visiting school groups. Participants stay with host families (normally in groups of 2-3 per family) on a full board basis, with packed lunch at mid-day. The group will go on an excursion each day, assembling at a central meeting point each morning to spend the day visiting the chosen area. The minimum stay with a family is 2 nights and in addition to touring the participants have an opportunity to experience genuine family life.
These programmes are ideally suited to school or university groups who want a cultural and touring experience.
Unfortunately, this programme is not suitable for individual bookings.
Please get in touch if you would like to receive a quotation, we will be happy to provide you with an estimate, without any obligation.
Currently, there are eight locations open for our Mini Stay programme: Cork, Limerick, Killarney, Galway, Dublin, Monaghan, Westport, and Belfast. Click on the links below for each of the centres to see some sample programmes, but remember, if you would like to design something different, just ask!
